The former 'Beverly Hills, 90210' actress - who was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2015 - sued Steven Blatt for mismanaging her insurance premiums and allowing her health insurance to lapse last year, meaning she then couldn't see a doctor, leading to a delay in her cancer diagnosis, and was previously questioned under oath for seven hours.

Though that is the standard time in California, the manager's team are requesting an extension of around four hours, and the lawyers claim that because Shannen has recently been giving interviews and travelling, she is healthy enough to sit for another deposition.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, Blatt claims the days before and after her initial deposition, the 45-year-old actress shared pictures on social media of herself enjoying nights out in New York and Pittsburgh, and even travelled to Australia for a fan convention, so should be fine to sit for another questioning.

However, the actress has hit back in legal documents, claiming it is insulting that it has been implied she isn't that sick because she is living her life.

She feels the seven-hour questioning was more than enough and doesn't owe any more time, a matter which will now be decided by a judge.

Shannen's diagnosis was made public in August 2015 when she filed her lawsuit against her former management and accounting firm.

In court documents, the actress accused the firm of ignoring an invoice to pay her insurance premium in early 2014.

The 'Charmed' star re-enrolled in the programme shortly before doctors discovered she has "invasive breast cancer metastatic to at least one lymph node."

Her medical team believe the cancer spread last year and would have been easier to treat if it had been detected earlier, but she failed to get a check-up at the time due to her lack of insurance.

Confirming the news at the time, Shannen vowed to remain positive.

She said: "Yes, I have breast cancer, and I am currently undergoing treatment. I am continuing to eat right, exercise and stay very positive about my life. I am thankful to my family, friends and doctors for their support and, of course, my fans who have stood by me."
