Ed Sheeran used to wear a girdle.
The 'Thinking Out Loud' hitmaker was once so worried about his waist during his rise to stardom, he experimented using the device to help him look slimmer.
The 24-year-old star explained: "I tried it on for an awards show because I was wearing a shirt and my belly just went nuts.
"I was just like, 'No, this isn't happening'. It was like a corset."
The singer confessed he is concerned by the prospect of looking overweight while posing for pictures on the red carpet.
What's more, Ed revealed that a newly-tailored suit he donned for the recent Brit Awards, where he won the British Male Solo Act and Album of the Year prizes, no longer fits him.
He reflected: "It just means I'm a bit of a chubby b*****d."
However, Ed added he doesn't have the desire to spend hour after hour working out in the gym and is instead happy to have the physique of a regular guy.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I've never had a six-pack and that's like most of the guys in the world.
"We just want to eat burgers, not do sit-ups."
