British actress Sienna Miller testified at an official inquiry into the U.K. phone hacking scandal just a day after discovering she was pregnant and battled severe morning sickness during her time on the stand.

Sienna Miller was battling morning sickness during phone hacking inquiry

The star of such movies as Alfie was among those who gave evidence during the Leveson Inquiry, a probe into press standards in the aftermath of the phone hacking scandal when a private investigator working for the News of the World tabloid was found to have illegally accessed the voice mail accounts of celebrities and public figures.

Miller, who was among the phone hacking victims, has now revealed her turn on the stand in November, 2011 came at an inopportune time as she had just discovered she was expecting a baby with her partner Tom Sturridge and she was very ill during her time in front of the committee.

She tells Fox News, "I was so ill during that Leveson Inquiry, with morning sickness - I was green."

Miller won a $160,000 settlement from the company behind the now defunct News of the World, and she gave birth to daughter Marlowe in 2012.
