The Blue singer proposed to his girlfriend of 16 months Ayshen Kemal on the final night of their recent holiday to Jamaica and the delighted former Fe-nix Ladies star said yes.

She shared a picture of them together on Instagram and wrote: "So this happened on the last night of our holiday ...I said YES!!! I can't put into words how happy I am and how special @simonwebbe1 made me feel. It was the most magical, perfect fairytale proposal, I'm the luckiest girl in the world. I'm so excited for our new chapter and to spend the rest of my life with you baby I love you so much my soul mate, my best friend my FIANCÉ #isaidyes #proposal #engagement #love #myfiance (sic)."

Simon posted the same picture and wrote: "Away in Jamaica I had to get on one knee and hope to god she says and she did @ayshenk thank you #happyvalentines (sic)."

In a video obtained by The Sun, Ayshen is presented with a plate of chocolate strawberries with the words "Will You Marry Me?" written on it.

Simon also penned a song for the proposal called 'Without You', which features the lyrics: "In our short time together, it couldn't get any better, I know I'll never do you wrong, no no... Look life is full of light and shade, sometimes it will get dark. But that's the test to see how strong we are."

Simon, 38, has previously been linked to 'Ex On The Beach' star Jess Impiazzi, actress Layla Manoochehri and glamour model Natalie Denning.
