Sofia Vergara recently posted a photo of herself in a bikini online because she thought she looked good in the picture.
The 41-year-old actress - who has 21-year-old son Manolo with ex-husband Joe Gonzalez - recently posted a photograph online of herself in a thong bikini while holidaying in Mexico with fiance Nick Loeb and she admits she shared the image because she was delighted with her appearance.
Asked by radio host Ryan Seacrest why she had posted the photograph online, she said: "My son took that picture. And I'm like, 'Damn I still look good! I'm going to post this one.' At this age, you don't take for granted a good picture."
The 'Modern Family' star also admitted she is constantly amused by speculation about her personal life.
She said: "I laugh all the time, because what else can I do? I mean at least they're talking about me, no?
"I read the most absurd things, like one day I'm engaged, one day because I go to the gym without the ring then I'm not engaged and it's some horrible tragedy. Then the other day I'm getting married, then I'm giving birth."
The brunette beauty's latest venture is serving as executive producer on a new US TV show, 'Killer Women', and she is confident it will be a hit.
She said: "It's [an adaptation of] a show that called a lot of attention in Latin America, Mexico and Argentina called Mujeres Asesinas.
"So I thought it would be a great idea to bring it to the United States," she explains. "It's kind of like the same premise: women that commit horrible crimes and I thought it was very interesting."
