The 'One Tree Hill' star doesn't get why people want to have a "big fight" about the use of the term.

Speaking on HuffPost Live, she said: "It's so not complicated ... I watch everybody fight over whether it's appropriate to be a feminist or not.

"And I sit here thinking, well, I'm a woman. I would like to be judged on the quality of my work, I would like to be compensated fairly for my work. I would like to have just as much access to healthcare as any man. Yeah, that's pretty much it. I don't know what the big fight is all about."

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old actress previously revealed she enjoys working to uplift women in Hollywood and is thrilled to join Emma Watson's feminist book club Our Shared Shelf.

She shared: "It always excites me when I find like-minded women in this industry who are working to uplift women. To see Emma trailblazing [this]. She's so young and she's so passionate and that excites me that there's other women that are really jazzed about this."
