The 27-year-old star - who first found fame on 'The X Factor' in 2009 and is now a 'Loose Women' panellist - has been dating the former 'EastEnders' actor since early 2016.

It's no secret that Stacey is completely smitten with Joe, 35, as she often speaks about her beau on the ITV daytime chat show but speaking to BANG Showbiz on the red carpet of the National Film Awards, held at the Porchester Hall in London on Wednesday night (29.03.17), Stacey explained why she's madly in love with the cheeky chap.

She said: "I love him for the same reasons the nation loves him - he's hilarious, he's lovely, he's got a good heart, he's a normal person with really good morals and values and I think that's all I've ever wanted."

Although they are blissfully happy at the moment, Stacey - who has two sons, Zachary, nine, whom she has with ex-boyfriend Dean Cox and Leighton, five, with whom she has with ex-fiancé Aaron Barnham - is in no hurry to walk down the aisle just yet.

She said: "You'll have to ask him [if he's going to propose], I don't have any inklings yet, we've only been together for just over a year. So we're taking things really slowly and trying to be sensible because usually I'm a head over heels girl, I don't want to move too quickly. We really like each other so we just want to make it special and proper."

Stacey accepts there is a lot of interest in her romance with Joe - who has nine-year-old son Harry with his ex-fiancée Emma Sophocleous - but she doesn't mind that their fans are keen to know more about their life together.

She said: "I don't really mind what anyone thinks of our relationship, as long as we're both happy and our families are happy and our children are happy that's all that counts. We don't have people following us around everywhere it's not like we're Justin Bieber and there are cameras everywhere. We're very normal."
