Taylor Swift celebrated her "best birthday" ever with close friends.
The singer turned 24 yesterday (13.12.13) and shared pictures with her party guests - including fellow star Lorde - after holding a Melbourne garden party to mark the occasion.
She wrote on Instagram: "The best birthday I've ever had."
The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' hitmaker - who was wearing a red and blue floral dress - was surrounded by her friends in the photographs and took to the social networking site to thank her fans for their "birthday wishes".
She added: "My 24th birthday was a Melbourne garden party. Thank you for all the birthday wishes!!"

"She's an inspiration to me because she reinstated how honest you can be about a boy in your music.
"I thought maybe I should stop being so explicit at one point, then I slapped myself out of that. I'm always going to write about people."
