The 28-year-old pop star was seemingly labelled a "snake" on Twitter by the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star after husband fell out with Taylor over the lyrics in the rapper's 'Famous' track in 2016, in which he referred to the singer as a "b***h*".

And now the 'Look What You Made Me Do' hitmaker, who has incorporated the slithering reptile into her show performing inside a snake cage and behind serpentine statues, has admitted she didn't know if she'd be able to tour again because of how down she felt after being called names on social media.

However, Taylor insists the war of words between the couple has only "strengthened" her.

Before performing 'Long Live' on the opening night of her 'Reputation Stadium Tour' at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. Arizona on Tuesday night (08.05.18), Taylor told the crowd: "A couple of years ago, someone called me a snake on social media and it caught on.

"And then a lot of people called me a lot of names on social media.

"And I went through some really low times for a while because of it.

"I went through some times when I didn't know if I was gonna get to do this anymore and I guess the snakes ... I wanted to send a message to you guys that if someone uses name calling to bully you on social media and even if a lot of people jump on board with it, that doesn't have to beat you. It can strengthen you instead."

At the time, Kim had tweeted: "Wait it's legit National Snake Day?!?!?They have holidays for everybody, I mean everything these days! (sic)", along with several snake emojis.

The 37-year-old reality star also shared footage of her rapper spouse talking to the singer about 'Famous' - in which he also says he and the singer might have sex - prompting Taylor to hit back and insist she never "approved" the song.

Taylor and Kanye have been feuding ever since he stormed the stage at the MTV VMAs in 2009 because he thought Beyonce deserved the Best Female Video prize over her.

Last year, Taylor released 'Look What You Made Me Do', which seemingly took aim at Kanye, as she slammed an unknown person - thought to be the rapper - for their "tilted stage", which Kanye had during his 'Saint Pablo' tour in 2016.

Declaring her hate towards the person, Taylor sings the line: "I don't like your little games/ Don't like your tilted stage/ The role you made me play/ Of the fool/ No, I don't like you."

The 'Delicate' singer also had several snake features in her video for her song 'End Game', including plastic straws and she also donned snake print.
