Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift has admitted she's now only interested in love "as a writer".

The beauty is very "protective" of her current happiness whilst being a single woman and admits her inspirations have creatively changed as a result.

Speaking on Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014 she explained: "It seems like when I moved to New York love and heartbreak and the themes that used to be main factors in my music kind of faded to the background.

"Of course, love is still very interesting to me as a writer.

Asked whether she was interested in love as a beautiful young woman, she added: "Not right now. I'm just really happy and I'm really protective of that."

She also went on to slam those who mock her for writing about her personal life, insisting that some of the criticism is "sexism" as if she was a man, she wouldn't be subjected to the same comments.

"If a guy shares his experience in writing, he's brave. If a woman shares her experience in writing she's over-sharing, or she's over-emotional, or she might be crazy, or 'Watch out she'll write a song about you'.

"That joke is so old and it's coming from a place of such sexism."
