Taylor Swift has revealed a fellow female singer attempted to commit a "horrible" act by trying to sabotage her entire 'Red' world tour by hiring some of her staff from under her.

Swift claims the star, who she did not name, committed a "horrible" act by attempting to hire some of her own staff members from under her, and as a result they have now become "enemies".

In interview with Rolling Stone magazine, she said: "She did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business.

"She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational - you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."

Taylor has slammed the mystery woman in a new song, 'Bad Blood', which is to appear on her upcoming fifth studio album '1989', and admitted she was always uncertain as to whether the pair were pals or not when they used to meet at events.

She added: "For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not.

"She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?' "

The Twittersphere went into a frenzy following her comments and sparked speculation Taylor could be referring to Katy Perry after the 'California Gurls' hitmaker hit out at an unnamed person on the social networking site, referencing Regina George, the lead character in 'Mean Girls' played by Rachel McAdams.

She wrote: "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..."

What's more, further fuel was added to the fire by website Idolator, which claims some of the dancers who worked on Katy's 'Prismatic' tour used to be employed by Taylor.

Taylor admitted she was keen to let fans know that 'Bad Blood' was not about a boy, as many of her songs are about former lovers, but in doing so the star - who famously never talks about her boyfriends in interviews - accidentally said the name of her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles' band, One Direction.

She said: "I know people will make it this big girl-fight thing.

"But I just want people to know it's not about a guy. You don't want to shade someone you used to date and make it seem like you hate him, when that's not the case. And I knew people would immediately be going in one direction."
