The 45-year-old comedian thought there were too many social and political messages being pushed during the annual ceremony and joked she can't understand why any of the Hollywood stars involved in the event would slam "corporate greed" when they are so wealthy themselves.

She quipped: "I would say being at the Oscars, and I don't know if you guys feel this way when you go out there, but I am so glad I live here. Because half ways through I was like, 'This is some real Hollywood bulls**t!'

"Everyone is telling me what to do and it was like, people are yelling at me about rape and telling me about corporate greed, but really it's climate change. I was like, 'Guys, pick a lane. Too much coming at me. Also, you are all rich, why are you yelling at me about corporate greed?' "

Tina was disappointed not to get a "moment" with Caitlyn Jenner at the glitzy ceremony, despite doing her best to catch the 'I Am Cait' star's eye.

She told Sirius XM DJ Howard Stern: "The best sighting I had [at the Oscars] was Caitlyn Jenner. I was trying so hard to have a moment with her, and I was trying to make eye contact...But she was not having me. Not on purpose.

"She looked fantastic."

At one point during the ceremony Michael Strahan tried to take a selfie with the 'Saturday Night Live' star without asking, but Tina insisted she didn't mind because she thought she'd look "better" alongside the NFL player.

She said: "I didn't mind. Anyone who is super tall, I love taking a selfie with them because you look better."
