The former N-Dubz singer has had her licence taken away and forced to fork out £1,185 in damages after she confessed to causing a crash while driving under the influence (DUI) in London last year.

The 27-year-old singer stood before a judge at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court in London and broke down in tears as she owned up to swigging two glasses of wine before jumping behind the wheel of her Ferrari and, consequently, collided with an elderly couple's vehicle outside Southgate London Underground station on September 10.

Prosecutor Tarika Jayaratne claimed Tulisa - who bought the sports car just days before the incident - drove "on the wrong side of the road" and hit the Saab, which was carrying two people.

Ms. Jayaratne then went on to tell the court room that the singer had told police during her interview at the station in September that she was "sleep-walking" or "sleep-driving" at the time.

Tulisa was arrested and held in custody for 22 hours before being released on bail while police carried out more investigations.

Meanwhile, the recent court outcome is just one in a long line of setbacks for the brunette beauty in recent years as she desperately attempts to get her singing career back on track.
