The 'Somebody to You' singers - James McVey, Connor Ball, Brad Simpson and Tristan Evans - took to their Facebook page to express their sadness at hearing of the deaths of Universal Music Group employees Marie Mosser, 24, and Thomas Ayad, 32.

Alongside photographs of both of them, they wrote: "We want to pass on our deepest condolences to the families and friends of Thomas and Marie who were a huge part of The Vamps team in France and who tragically passed away Friday night in Paris. They will be sorely missed by us and all that knew them. Brad, James, Connor and Tristan."

Marie and Thomas were confirmed among the victims of the terrorist attack at the Eagles of Death Metal concert at the Bataclan theatre.

After hearing the news, James wrote on Twitter: "Absolutely devastated to lose our incredibly talented and welcoming members of our French record label last night. Incomprehensible #Paris (sic).@"

A message on the Universal Music France Twitter page reads: "Universal Music family is now in mourning. Thank you all for your messages. Thoughts to the victims & their families. RIP (sic)."

Marie and Thomas are two of 129 confirmed dead following a number of attacks on the French capital on Friday (13.11.15) night.
