Jaden urged father Will to tone-up after he was cast alongside the 24-year-old Australian beauty in the romantic comedy-drama, in which he plays a veteran con artist who takes Margot's on-screen character Jess under his wing.

The 46-year-old Hollywood star told 'Good Morning Britain': "When Margot got hired for the film, Jaden said, 'Get in the gym - do not embarrass me.' "

Will also said the new film reinforced the message that love and honesty go hand-in hand, explaining how his character Nicky is forced to make a choice between his deceptive behaviour and finding love with Jess.

Speaking at the film's UK premiere in London's Leicester Square last night (11.02.15), he told BANG Showbiz: "He's a con man and he's one of the best there's ever been. He's more of a human behaviorist than a con man actually, he takes it way to another level.

"He's one of the best in the world at what he does and he has to figure out whether or not he wants to stop lying in order to find love. Loving and lying don't mix."
