Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego
Zoe Saldana has now given birth to her twins making her and her husband Marco Perego parents together for the first time.
A friend told the Mirror.co.uk website: "Zoe and Marco are delighted, Zoe has been ready to drop for some time and they are both ecstatic to be meeting the twins.
"This a dream come true for both of them, they are absolutely delighted. They have been looking forward this day for the last nine months. Both want a big family so this is the start."
No other details at the time of writing about the birth of the babies was available.
Zoe had revealed the news that she was expecting back in July, but it was her friend Britney Spears who let the news slip.
The actress had previously insisted that she wouldn't be rushing back to work following the birth and wants to enjoy spending time with the kids whilst they're babies.
She said: "I know that we will work everything out. I have to say, I'm very lucky... I've gotten nothing but support... I'm not going to rip my child off my t*t to go work. And if I do that, then maybe you shouldn't hire me because I am willing to sell anything.
"It's nature! Like, you just cannot do it. What kind of mother would I be? There's no choice. It's like, 'What, you want me to leave my newborn so that I can work 16 hours on your set? He's only a month old, are you out of your mind?' And the good thing is that half of the people you work with are all parents, and they get it." she added.
