The 'New Girl' star had to rap in front of the 'Like I Love You' hitmaker for their new movie 'Trolls' and wasn't feeling too confident about it like her co-star James Corden.

James said: "I think we had a similar experience where I had to spend half a day singing in front of Justin Timberlake in a recording studio, which is terrifying. But you had to go one further; you had to rap."

Speaking on The Late Late Show, Zooey added: "They're like, 'How do you feel about rapping?' I was like, 'Wait, um, I'm sorry I didn't realise that the rap was supposed to be me rapping, I thought that was for somebody else.' Of course it wouldn't be me - I'm not a rapper, now I am ...

"Justin Timberlake's there, he's like, 'So you want to take a minute to go over it?' I'm like, hell yes. So I go in the other room and I listened to this rap like 20,000 times and then I went in there and did it."

Meanwhile, James previously revealed he was "terrified" about singing in front of Justin but really enjoyed it in the end.

He said: "I spent like half a day doing singing which is always quite, you know, terrifying if you're me and it's him, but I think I got away with it. I think it was fun. I certainly loved it."

However, James isn't too worried about singing in front of Justin again as he previously revealed he has invited the singer to do Carpool Karaoke "a million" times.

He shared: "It's really not our choice. It's all up to him, really. I hope so! [I've asked] probably a million [times], so I hope so. I hope when he's got a new record out we'll [get him on]. Who do you think you're talking to man? I want to do it, but we'll see! I'd love to. We'll see. I hope so, one day. That would be wonderful, it really would."
