Britain's Princess Diana's death could have been avoided if she had worn a seatbelt, according to the road safety minister. Labour MP Jim Fitzpatrick...... (more)
The Minister should have checked his facts. No one in the car wore seatbelts according to the official written reports and the bodyguard. Stating that the survivor was belted is incorrect.
No one knows if Diana or the others would have lived if they were belted. What we do know is that if the paparazzi hadn't chased Diana's car and her driver not been drinking everyone would be alive today.
Everyone should belt up and never drink and drive.
Too bad we don't have laws and enforce them against paparazzi, or anyone, chasing a vehicle.
