I think the way Jessica conducted herself through-out the contest, is a testament to her character and determination. I was thoroughly disgusted by some of the other contestants attitude, towards her: just because her disability was not as visual. Sophie in particular should be ashamed of herself, discriminating against a disabled person. Just because she feels her disability is more valid. I am saddened that people think Jessca is attention seeking, when she needs to rest. How outraged would people be, if i said Sophie is attention seeking by using a wheelchair? Allowing Jessica time to rest is one of the adaptations needed for her disability. Just because Jessica is not fully deaf, not fully blind and not fully paralysed does not make her disability less valid. Sophie said that she wouldn't wake her at a shoot "she's the competition". Perhaps she needs to think how she'd feel if Jessica left her at the road side; cause helping her in the car was helping the competition. Whilst Sophie was not the only one to behave like this, she was the ringleader. Displaying her true colours by being a very ungracious and poor loser. While in contrast Jessica conducted herself with dignity and courtesy, to the end. Hard to believe she was only 19. Well done Jessica and i wish you all the best.
