I am a man and after reading it I got the impresion that girl should feel threatened, not safe, and be focused all the time because something wrong may happen any minute!!! wtf ? I understand that from time to time something strange might happen but I bet that for the most of time we ( men ) just want the date to be normal as much as you do! So if your tips for a first date are 'never lower your guard' - he wants to rape you all the time! then I guess we have some misunderstanding here ;/ I ll fear to go for a date now ;/
