Patrick Swayze's experimental treatment

i am sending this with hope i might be able to get information on my brother in laws be half. he was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that has spread to his lungs and liver. we just found out 4 days ago. he was told there is very little hope he is at stage 4 already. his doctor has told him that 6 months ago they would not have been able to detect it. he was told that he has 3 to 6 months. if any one has any advice please let me know
