I think you have to be lighthearted about internet dating, even if you are looking for something serious. It's not worth going in to too much detail until you've actually met someone. As long as you don't tell out and out lies, or put up a fake photo, then there's no harm in a bit of self marketing!! You have to play the game, surely. If everyone was 100% honest, then fine, but they're not, so yes it is fair play!
