interesting. we were in israel during the july war, and while we weren't in haifa (where they got hit hardest), we were in Tiberius on the sea of gallilee. heard some rockets. went to Tel Aviv, had a fantastic time. no worries, not even the slightest hint of hysteria. and yes, the Mediteranian is full of jelly fish. most of them are dead and have floated onto the shore, otherwise they tend to leave well enough alone.
