I do agree with Kim Ledger's statement that we are all responsible for our actions and what we ingest. However, I cannot begin to understand what it must be like having your every move scrutinized, the pressure of each performance and also the impact of "acting" like a deranged individual for months at a time. I can only guess that what was said to me 30 years ago by an indian priest must still be true..."fame is the food that dead men eat".
The saddest thing is that while celebrities or stars are caught up in their own drama or drug induced delirium, the reality of what they leave behind as to the people who love them and can't seem to get through is the most tragic.
In many cases the drug that actually kills them is "FAME".
