Colchester , The oldest recorded market town in the country , with a sham of a market .
Thanks to its council . week after week I read people's letters in the Standard they have writtent to the editor . Saying how poor realtions to the likes of Ipswich & Norwich the town is , the shops are going , the streets are filthy , the car parks are far to exspensive , and the towns history is not kept well and highlighted as it should be .
Its all clear now with the like of people like Martin Hunt on the council , how proud we all should be to have someone like him in the corridors of power of this once beautifull historical market town .
He is interviewed by national papers, and says " Oh well we were going to do the beds anyhow , he's saved us a job "
"I could pull up his plants in the hope of discovering who he is , but I could be arrested for assult of a shrub "
What a damn disgrace & a pathectic weasel .
I don not believe the beds would have been done , they were a disgrace . Should NEVER have been ripped up and left to weeds in the first place.
Secondly , sums up my towns council . Useless , liars & arrogant .
They have no thought or care, or pride in the town of Colchester nor its people .
Sack the Yob , insiting vandalism , his salary saved should go the many beds, and planters around the town .
If Mr Hunt wishes to pull anything up , perhaps he should vist the site of Jumbo , another of Colchesters historical buildings , and set about the weeds there , the former garrison church , and the Abbey Gate . Then to cool off maybe go and jump in Bourne Mill pond and clear the alge of that .
The person is a disgrace & should be removed from any asscioation of the town .
