Set in New Orleans and Panama, the film explores the cutthroat world of international smuggling; full of desperate criminals, corrupt officials, high-stakes and big payoffs, where loyalty rarely exists and death is just one wrong turn away.
Chris Farraday (Wahlberg) abandoned his life of crime a long time ago, but after his brother-in-law, Andy (Landry Jones), fails to complete a drug deal for his ruthless boss, Tim Briggs (Ribisi), Chris is forced back into doing what he does best to settle Andy’s debt.
With the help of best friend Sebastian (Foster), Chris quickly assembles a crew for one final run to Panama in order to pay Briggs back.
However as things quickly fall apart Chris must use his rusty skills to navigate a treacherous network of brutal drug lords, cops and hitmen before his wife, Kate (Beckinsale), and young sons become their target.
