Win with 'The Orphanage' Your Own Ghost Hunt

The Orphanage - Optimum Releasing : Laura spent the happiest years of her childhood growing up in an orphanage by the seaside, cared for by the staff and fellow orphans whom she loved as brothers and sisters. Now, thirty years on, Laura returns with her husband Carlos and Simon, their 7-year-old son, with a dream of restoring and reopening the long abandoned orphanage as a home for disabled children. But things are not as they seem as this beautifully told yet seriously scary ghost movie unfolds....

The night begins with a supernatural history hall given by the present owners, they will detail the Hall’s rich and colourful history as well as their own personal experiences of paranormal activity.

Now in conjunction with 'The Orphanage and Optimum Releasing you can win your very own ghost hunt at Llanerchydol Hall one of the UK's most haunted locations.

It has always been a family home linked with the gentry of mid-Wales, its first owner David Pugh who made his fortune in the tea trade to the later owners, the powerful Verdon family who had ancestor’s dating back to 1066. It was continually habited for over 260 years apart from a period in the 1870s and 1980s.

One of the most endearing stories is how David Pugh’s son, Charles Pugh, lost the house and most of the family’s fortune during a card game and was forced by his father to serve in a debtor’s prison for two years and drop out of the social circle. Sadly, Charles, no matter how much he battled failed to reclaim the house and never recovered the fortune.

The Orphanage is the new film from the director of Hell Boy and Pan's Labyrinth, and is receiving wide acclaim as the scariest movie of the year. It is released March 21st. Click here for more.
