Mean Girls is the story of new kid on the block Cady Heron, (Lindsay Lohan), who is sent to high-school for the first time after being taught by her zoologist parents for 15 years in Africa.

The film shows Cady in her attempts to infiltrate the 'coolest' gang in the school, 'the plastics'.

In order to discover the secret of how to fit-in and become socially acceptable at school, Cady must befriend the social clique and learn how to become one of them.

But the more she finds out about them, the more she realises that she might not want to be part of their gang...
