Directed by the legendry Michael Mann (Heat, Collateral), PUBLIC ENEMIES is an epic action-packed thriller that follows the story of the legendary, charming and ruthless gangster John Dillinger (Depp) as he attempts to outwit and outgun the square-jawed FBI agent Melvin Purvis (Bale).

After escaping the authorities snare in a series of wild chases and shootouts, J. Edgar Hoover’s (Billy Crudup) fledging FBI are forced to hire a crew of lawmen from the Dallas bureau and orchestrate a series of epic betrayals - from the infamous 'Lady in Red' to the turning of Chicago crime boss Frank Nitti in order for Purvis and his new crew of gunfighters to finally close in on their prey.
