Ok well since I’m here and it happened yesterday perhaps I should let you have the exclusive…

This week we found out that Joss Stone’s vocals are illegal. At least, her performance on my song Stalemate is – because EMI have decided they won’t let me put our duet version out as a single…!!

Don’t ask me why – something to do with contracts, lawsuits, and fate, I’m told. It took me a few days to stop being angry enough to even talk about or think about taking her voice off such a beautiful record – but that’s what I’ve had to do.

This Tuesday just gone, I went back into the studio with another superstar soul singer to re-record the duet to be our next single. It sounds great - different of course, but still great and I’ve decided to make it into a little competition..!

So, if you think you know who it is that is singing on the duet with me, fill in the answer form below and if you’re the first person to get it right, we’ll send you a signed copy of the album and a signed t-shirt, in a Ben’s Brother official bag.
