Iyaz follows his number one hit ‘Replay’ with the release of new single Solo on 24 May, and because we know how much you love our superstar friend, we’ve teamed up with his homies at Warner to offer you the chance to win some signed CD’s.

Iyaz delivered the first smash hit of 2010 when his infectious debut single ‘Replay’ spent two weeks at the top of the charts, and now the young Virgin Islander looks set to hit the charts again with the May 24th release of his second single ‘Solo’ on Time is Money / Beluga Heights / Reprise Records.

‘Solo’ was again produced by Iyaz’s mentor, the super producer and Beluga Heights founder J.R. Rotem. The single captures the summery insistent pop that made ‘Replay’ so popular and features Iyaz’s bittersweet, lovelorn lyrics.

Iyaz was discovered when Sean Kingston stumbled upon his MySpace page. Kingston signed Iyaz to production company Time is Money Entertainment and recommended him to Rotem who subsequently signed Iyaz through Time is Money Entertainment to Beluga Heights.

Now the 22 year old artist – born in the U.S. Virgin Islands but raised in the British Virgin Islands – is forging ahead on work for his debut album that’s set to be released later this year. With the support of Rotem and Kingston behind him, Iyaz is putting Island Pop on the global music map. His debut album follows on June 7th.
