The National Lottery Awards are an annual search to find the UK’s favourite Lottery-funded projects.  Lottery players raise £25 million each week for Good Causes and the Awards highlight how that funding has changed the UK for the better. 

For the first time, FemaleFirst.co.uk is sponsoring the Award for Best Health Project and has joined forces with The National Lottery to offer one lucky person and a friend the chance to win a VIP trip to London, to attend the star-studded BBC1 National Lottery Awards show on 5 September 2009.

The lucky winner and a friend will stay in the luxurious 5 Star London Marriott Hotel, County Hall, in one of their fantastic Riverview rooms overlooking the river Thames.

On the evening of 5 September the winners will be driven to The National Lottery Awards show, mingling with a host of celebrities. The prize includes return travel to London, lunch and dinner on 5 September; return travel to the live Awards show and one night’s accommodation with breakfast.

There are seven different categories in this year’s Awards, including Best Education Project, Best Sports Project, Best Heritage Project, Best Arts Project, Best Environment Project, Best Health Project in association with FemaleFirst.co.uk and the Woman Award for Best Voluntary/Charity Project. The prize is a one night stay at the London Marriott Hotel County Hall for two people sharing a room (both must be over the age of 18) on 5 September 2009. It includes breakfast, lunch (to the value of £40 for two excluding drinks, payable by the winner then refunded) and dinner (to the value of £60 for two excluding drinks, payable by the winner then refunded), travel to London (up to a maximum of £150 per person booked in agreement with the winner), return travel by taxi from the hotel to the Awards show.  Any additional expenses are not included. Prize must be taken on 5 September 2009 subject to availability.

The first correct entry drawn after the closing date Thursday 20th August wins the prize.
