Operating under the intimidating title codename The Equalizer, Robert McCall is a former government spy. Having left the agency that he worked for, known as ‘The Company’ he establishes himself as a private detective working from his Manhattan apartment. Seeking redemption for some of his previous darker exploits he advertises his services through a newspaper advert which reads ‘Got a problem? Odds against you? Need help? Call ‘The Equalizer’. Taking on the problems of those that the police cannot, or will not help, he becomes immersed in a dangerous world.

Maintaining contact with his friend and former boss at ‘The Company’, a man known only as ‘Control’ (Robert Lansing) je is trying to build a new life for himself. He establishes a link with his estranged son Scott (William Zabka – The Karate Kid) in an effort to develop a relationship with him. At first bitterly judgemental of his fathers world, Scott soon becomes drawn into The Equalizer’s complex world, much to his father’s dismay.

McCall employs his razor-sharp instincts and skills in espionage and frequently enlists the help of former top-secret connections still in ‘The Company’, and a slew of police contacts to get the job done. Aided by his mysterious associates, McCall traverses the streets of New York City, visiting justice upon deserving criminals. Cold-bloodedly efficient, relentless and as deadly as a shark The Equalizer is a provocative, action-packed murder-mystery series you wont want to miss!
