We all know kids have the best imaginations but does your child have a more vivid imagination than most? Female First are looking for creative kids to write their own magical short story to celebrate the release of Nim's Island on DVD.
Not only will the stories be judged by Nim's Island author Wendy Orr but the winning story will be published right here on Female First for everyone to enjoy!
And that's not all.....the winner will also receive some fab signed goodies, a copy of Nim's Island on DVD and their very own DVD player!
Nine runners up will also get their hands on a copy of the DVD.
So if you want to keep the kids entertained this summer then get them to get creative and create their very own magical adventure just like the one Nim has in the film.
To enter simply send a short story of no more than 2,000 words written by a child under the age of 16 to....

A comical, inspirational fantasy-adventure, Nim's Island is about becoming the hero of your own story -- as a girl who thought she was alone and a grown woman who thought she was scared of the world discover they can be so much more than they ever dreamed.
The film features 11 year-old Academy Award nominee Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) in the title role; Academy Award winner Jodie Foster in a rare comic turn as Alexandra Rover; and heartthrob Gerard Butler (300, P.S. I Love You) in a dual role as Nim’s real father and valiant fictional idol Alex Rover.
Nim's Island is released on DVD on 25th August.

nims island just looks absolutley fab!!!!!!!!!!! i really want it on dvd so i would make up a brilliant story cos its a good chance to get it.!!!!!!!!!!
