Comedian and actor Adam Buxton of TV show Adam and Joe fame, appears in a new film in which he plays a stately manor gentleman who takes a sideways look at 18th-century portraiture, as part of Tate Britain’s campaign which promotes the gallery’s free collection.
Take a jaunt through the collection at Tate Britain with your host Monty Buggershop-Hooty, stopping on the way to look at William Beechey's Portrait of Sir Francis Ford's Children giving a Coin to a Beggar Boy' and Richard Long's A Hundred Mile Walk.
The film is a fresh perspective on much loved works of art at Tate Britain and is part of a broader series to support the collection displays with contributors including Vivienne Westwood, Lauren Laverne and Jon Snow.
