Perhaps you need to try new things, explore new concepts or find a more effective way to solve whatever issue is at the forefront of your mind.

Are you reaching your full potential? Perhaps you need to push yourself harder to reach your goals if you have become complacent lately. The little setbacks are not enough to stop you from achieving what you want in life so don’t use them as an excuse. You’re not fooling anyone but yourself.

Peanuts are also thought to represent money in dreams, so you may be struggling financially right now. Do you feel you aren’t paid enough for what you do? If so, is it time to move on or ask for a raise? Or is there something you can do to supplement your existing income?

If there was someone else in your dream who had peanuts- then you may be able to help them out with their money problems in your waking hours.

Another interpretation is that peanuts represent something small and insignificant- this situation or person is not worth your time or your money. Think hard about what you can cleanse from our life.

Peanuts are often served in bars so if you saw a bowl of peanuts on a bar then it might be time to make a plan with your friends or family. The dream could be telling you to socialise more. On the flipside, are you spending too much time in the pub and need to dial it back?

Consider the state of the peanuts- were they formed into butter? Oil? Flour? If so perhaps you are relying too much on convenience. You have become lazy in your professional or personal life and it might do you some good to get back to basics so you can appreciate life to the fullest.

If you are allergic to peanuts- the dream could be a sign that something you are doing in your waking life isn’t good for your health, it might be time to put a stop to this behaviour to protect your wellbeing.

Think about the interactions you’ve had lately- did someone say something that hurt you?  You may be injured by their words if they were said to deliberately offend or upset you.  Similarly, you might be worried that someone is out to hurt you and you are anticipating some sort of injury as a result.
