Following the success of the last four Barbie™ Princess series of films and Barbie™ Fairytopia™, Right Entertainment will be releasing Barbie™ and the Magic of Pegasus, the first original Barbie® fairytale movie on 17th October 2005.For the first time ever in a Barbie™ movie, Barbie™ and the Magic of Pegasus includes spectacular 3-D scenes in the DVD version, allowing little girls to immerse themselves in the world of Barbie™. Barbie™ fans should look out for the Shiver™ Bear icon indicating 3-D glasses should go on, and with four pairs of glasses enclosed inside every DVD, the whole family can join in the 3-D fun!In the Barbie™ and the Magic of Pegasus, young girls will experience a winter wonderland as they journey to a magical kingdom to discover forbidden forests, glacial mountain tops and cold ice caverns.

Barbie™ is princess Annika™, an adventurous tomboy with a passion for ice-skating. When Wenlock, an evil wizard, demands to marry her, princess Annika™ refuses and her parents, the King and Queen, are turned into stone under the evil wizard's spell.

Annika™ is rescued from the clutches of Wenlock, by a magnificent winged horse, Pegasus, who flies her to the magical Cloud Kingdom where Annika™ learns that she must break the evil wizard's spell to save her parents. Annika™ also discovers that Pegasus is actually her sister, the lovely princess Brietta™, who was transformed into Pegasus after refusing to marry the evil Wenlock many years ago.

Barbie™ and the Magic of Pegasus has all the allure of the previous titles and continues to appeal to children across the generations, delivering positive messages that empower young girls to be all they dream of being.
