All Angels are a group of young British girls, who sing classical and pop music. The four; Daisy Chute, 18, Melanie Nakha, 18, Charlotte Ritchie, 18 and Laura Wright, 17, got together through auditions and are trying to make classical music cool for teens.
Your new album will be released later on this month, what would you say It has to offer?
Our voices have matured in the last year and this album has another great variety of tracks, with two original compositions.
Have you got a favourite song on the album?
Its hard to pick just one track wed have to pick one Classical and one Pop. Our favourite Classical piece is Arrival of the Queen of Sheba and from the pop tracks Singing You Through.
How did the four of you meet?We met through nationwide auditions that our manager Steve Abbott organized. Since he brought us together a year and a half ago we have become great friends.
You are all quite young; did you ever think that you would be as successful as you are by this age?
How did you get into classical singing, because classical music doesnt seem that popular for girls of your age?
Weve all had singing lessons for years, in which we sang mostly classical pieces because thats what we enjoy most. We dont think its the fact that Classical isnt popular with our age group its just that it isnt considered cool and thats what we want to try and change.
You have sung live at various shows and concerts including, The Festival of Remembrance, in front of the Queen. Where have you enjoyed performing live the most?
The Royal Albert Hall, both for the Festival of Remembrance and at the Classical Brits. We also loved performing at Twickenham for the atmosphere and the sheer number of people.
Are there any well known classical singers, you admire and idolize, why?
Of course! We admire Cecilia Bartoli and Bryn Terfel because they are incredible concert performers and opera singers as well as being successful recording artists.
Have you got any shows or concerts coming up?
