Jackson on the Hunt for New Talent

American Idol judge Randy Jackson is broadening his talent search by inviting members of the public to approach him via his website.

The producer-turned-TV star runs Randyjacksonnext.com and is launching a new scheme called the Enlightenment Institute in a bid to discover new talent from the worlds of music, fashion, art and technology.

Jackson is urging anyone with a good idea to share their vision with him to help uncover the next big thing.

In a post on the website, he writes, "As we enlighten you, you enlighten us... Post something here that you think I should know about. Anything you think I need to see; in the world of architecture, music, fashion, technology, (and) philosophy, that you think me and the rest of the site need to know about. I'm going to be watching the site and seeing what you come up with".
