Bachchan Faces Second Surgery

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan faces undergoing a second operation as he battles a mystery stomach condition.

The actor had abdominal surgery on Saturday (11Feb12) at a hospital in Mumbai, India, but now he's told fans he is due back in the operating theatre again.

In a post on Twitter.com, Bachchan writes, "Some more tests... more unpronounceable medication... and... another visit to the OT... operation theater (sic)! Going to be a long stay... I have no idea now how long this will take, but it does look as though it will be long... thank you for your prayers and love...!!"

The 69-year-old star has refused to divulge any details of his ailment,but he is rumoured to have been treated for a hernia.
