Amy Winehouse To Be Quizzed Over Alleged Attack.... Troubled singer Amy Winehouse is facing police questioning after allegedly assaulting a female dancer at a London event on Thursday (25Sep08) night.
The Rehab star, 25, is accused of punching Sherene Flash in the face at the Prince's Trust End of Summer Ball bash, where Winehouse gave a shambolic performance of her hits.
Police were called to the $1,295-a-ticket ball to investigate the incident, but Winehouse had fled the scene before she could be questioned.
Cops took a statement from Flash, and are expected to speak to Winehouse this weekend (27-28Sep08), where she could be taken into custody.
According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, Winehouse is alleged to have attacked Flash after she asked to have a photo taken with the star.
A source says, "Sherene asked Amy if she could take a photo. Amy was OK at first, but when Sherene asked if a friend could get in the shot, Amy lashed out."
Another insider adds, "She was getting distressed. There was a lot of grabbing and flashbulbs were going off. She was startled."
