You know how we say handbag? They (Americans) say purseAnna Friel
She explains, "Gracie has a little American accent now, it's just started to creep in. You know how we say handbag? They (Americans) say purse. She went, 'Mummy, do you know where your purse is?' I said, 'My What?!' 'Purse'. "I'm bringing her back to England so she'll become very British again very soon.
We've got a northern nanny so we get her to go (in a British accent), 'under', 'bath', 'grass'".
