The Artic Monkeys are boycotting all of Muse’s concerts and albums - because the band’s frontman, Matt Bellamy, one of the Monkeys’ mums.
Andy Nicholson, the Sheffield rockers’ 19-year bassist, is refusing to watch any more of their rival band's shows after their lead singer told his mother she was fit after meeting her on tour in New York.
Bellamy - who Nicholson has branded a "creep" - revealed: "She looked surprisingly young".
Nicholson, despite being unhappy about the incident, revealed his mother was flattered by the attention.
He said: "Me mum fucking loved it!"
The two bands are set to cross paths this summer as they are both part of the line-ups for two of this year's biggest music festivals - The Carling Weekend and the Reading and Leeds Festivals.
