Ashlee Simpson has vowed never to go off the rails.The singer - who recently announced her engagement to Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz - won't follow in the footsteps of troubled stars Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan because she is in control of her life.She said: "I don't see myself ever following the path those girls take. I'm almost 24. I'm pretty together and I'm getting married. I wouldn't ever let myself get that way and I don't surround myself with yes-people. I think that's the most important thing. "People don't control me or anything I do and I've never had that problem."Ashlee - whose older sister is pop singer Jessica - says her relationship with Pete helps keep her grounded.She added to Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Pete is my support system. We definitely give honest opinions of each other. I love his music and he's so supportive of everything I do."Meanwhile, Ashlee has revealed she loved working with producer Timbaland on her new single 'Outta My Head (Ay Ay Ay)'.
