Sir Ben Kingsley is to work on five new films.
The 'Wackness' actor's production company SBK Films are to make the movies, with the 64-year-old star committed to starring in at least three of them.
The first movie, a naval drama entitled 'Jutland 1916' is based on a novel by Peter Hart and focuses on an epic sea battle. Ben will play Admiral John Jellicoe in the World War I film.
The next movie will see Ben voice the character of a toy elephant in 'Duncan'. The romantic fantasy, written by Barton Randall, follows a woman who reconnects with her childhood plaything.
The final movie Ben has agreed to star in is 'Whispers Like Thunder'. He will portray Charles Curtis, the only part-Native American to serve as Vice President in a tale about three Native-American siblings and their 65-year legal battle to protect a sacred burial ground.
The other two movies SBK Films are involved in are 'Quixote', which focuses on author Miguel Cervantes and his relationship with most famous character Don Quixote, and comedy 'I Know A Place'.
