Blink 182's Travis Barker gets tattoos repaired after plane crash

Travis Barker, Blink 182 drummer is repairing tattoos damagaed by scar tissue during a plane crash in 2008 that claimed the lives of two of his friends.

Barkwer was flying out of South Carolina after a gig with DJ AM and two pals when the small plane failed to clear the runway and burst into flames.

The rocker and his late sidekick managed to escape the blaze, but the drummer suffered severe second and third degree burns, which destroyed some of his body art.

Now the star is going under the needle to repair some of his beloved designs.

Returning to a tattoo parlour in LA on Tuesday, he tells TMZ.com: "I started finishing some of the tattoos that got burned off."
