Brandon Routh is to continue playing Superman. It had been rumoured that the superhero role would be re-cast following the disappointing performance of 2006's 'Superman Returns' but now bosses have insisted they intend to keep the actor in the title role - but won't begin work on it until plans for another 'Batman' movie are finalised.DC Comics president Paul Levitz told Latino Review: "Last week Brandon Routh has come around the offices in New York and Los Angeles as of late to talk about 'Superman' and what we want to do. "Everyone is waiting for Chris Nolan to sign on for another 'Batman', once that happens, the release date for Superman and all other future projects will follow."Although no release date for the film has been announced, it is believed to be pencilled in for some time in 2012.The X Factor might be the bane of some folks’ lives thanks to a certain pair of twins who keep appearing on the show week after week, but as we’re trying to determine who we’d most like to go on a hot date with this morning, we thought we’d open the floodgates to your views.

After Christopher Reeve, Brandon Routh really is the next logical choice and I`m glad warner brothers and DC have decided to stick with him.
