Ratner 'pattinson Is Superhero Material'

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has been tipped to sink his teeth into a superhero role in producerdirector Brett Ratner's movie adaptation of graphic novel Youngblood.

Ratner is still working on the script for the big screen version of RobLiefeld's comic, about a sanctioned team of government superheroes, but he admits British hunk Pattinson has caught his eye as a potential contender for a leading role.

Ratner tells Mtv News, "He just feels like he belongs in that world. I don't only see him as a vampire, he's a really good actor, Pattinson could do anything. He just has that look. I picture him on Youngblood, for sure".

The Rush Hour filmmaker insists he has yet to present the idea to Pattinson - but he definitely considers the actor as superhero material.

He adds to GossipCop.com, "If and when I make the movie I would consider Robert Pattinson. (But) we are still writing the script".
