Carla Bruni showed off her baby bump to the world yesterday as she greeted the wives of world leaders to the G8 Summit in Deauville.
Although the model/actress has yet to publically announced that she is expecting a child with husband, President Nicolas Sarkozy, her bump was clearly visible when she stepped out in her white shift dress.
Sarkozy’s dad Pal has expressed his joy at being a grandfather again in an interview with German newspaper Bild.
He says, “Neither wants to know the gender beforehand, but I’m certain it will be a girl, and beautiful like Carla. I’m glad to be having a grandchild...”
Bruni recently pulled out of the premiere of her latest film Midnight in Paris at Cannes Film Festival citing “personal and professional” reasons.
The couple married in 2008. Bruni, who is expected to give birth in October, has one son from a previous relationship and Sarkozy has three sons from two earlier marriages.
