Penn Badgley Eyes Blade Runner Sequel... Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley is hoping to follow in the Footloose footsteps of his co-star Chace Crawford - he's eyeing his own Hollywood remake with Harrison Ford's Blade Runner.

Crawford signed on to star in the remake of Kevin Bacon's 1984 dance film Footlose earlier this year (09) after High School Musical star Zac Efron pulled out of the cast.

And 22-year-old Badgley is keen to make moves of his own on the big screen, in a re-write of Ford's 1982 sci-fi film.

He tells the New York Daily News, "I'll be the first guy to star in the remake of 'Blade Runner'!"
